KiK is an example in which the student explored non-verbal communication between person and artefact. The light armature twists its body to cover and expose its light. The intensity of the light changes in relation to the person's activity. KiK explores inviting and defending behaviour. In the first case, it likes you to turn the light off; in the second, it does not like that. The light switch is placed in the armature and can only be reached when the armature twists to open up.
